Ha!! Everyone thought he'd spit the beer in the bartender's face...so I decided to surprise ya!
How many beers can Lud drink? What will Connie think of having to pay for all of it? FIND OUT SOON!
By the way, the Boyz have a lotta questions for Connie, of course. They didn't ask them at dinner because they were too busy snarfing food (they were pretty ding-dang hungry).
I am gonna post the next page in its pencil stage. I thought you guys might like to see a comic in its infancy...before the ink or colors are applied.

I think Lud would find the beer way too weak (more like water). Beer was made a lot stronger back then.

Yeah, I've heard some folks in Europe still drink warm beer. It must be just a certain kind though. The thought of something like warm Bud is pretty gross...Come to think of it, Bud at any temperature is pretty gross...

Yeah I sort of got that wide open mouth thing from some crazy anime I've seen. They tend to do that when a character is yelling...I can't believe I just admitted to an anime influence

Well the thing about it that bugs me I guess is that so much of it just looks alike...you know? Like everyone's copying off everyone else. Plus all the characters look the same in most of the stories (to me anyhow). I have trouble telling 'em apart. Not to say some of it isn't cool though--it's just kind of a saturated genre at this point. Like...'seen one seen 'em all' kinda thing.
