Description
Connie, Wolfgang, Felix and Freddie decided they needed a slushee. The 7-11 is about a block down the road, so they were gonna stroll down there and get one...But ya see, Freddie can't go anywhere without dressing to the nines.
Another excuse to draw Freddie in his dandy clothes.

NICE! I love this. Wow, Freddie's more dressed up here than he usually is. Perhaps there is a girl he likes who works at that 7-11 that he's trying to impress?

No joke. They could have left, drank giant slushees, seen a movie, and come back before he was done in the bathroom. LOL But hey, they're his buds so they were nice. They put up with all of Fred's little quirks cause they LURVE heeem.

Man, even when colored with colored pencils you're pictures reek of awesomesauce! (I have no idea how people manage to get so good with markers or colored pencils...I don't seem to have the right hand control to do it.)

I think I have an advantage because I took all those art/graphics classes before the computer was used widely as a design tool. So I cut my teeth the old school way...with paints, markers, etc...the "old fashioned way"...
I have tried coloring digitally and, while it has its advantages, I still really prefer the old way. Plus I just don't have the patience to learn how to layer and all that crazy stuff...
And yep, I love drawing Freddie all gussied up. He liked to do that. Clothes were a huge deal with him.

Man I know, all the good markers are uber expensive. And for what you pay for 'em, they don't last long enough ('course, I'm hard on ;em)

jeez thats crazy . i was lucky enough one time to find a few i like on sale at a craft store once, but that was the closest i got to a reasonable price. lol

Yeah you're real lucky of you find them on sale for 2 or 3 bucks. Normally though, you have to watch out for that cause those have been sitting around for a long time and may be real close to being dried up. Y'know, people scribbling around with them in the store...

Yeah I tried colored pencils on this one. Just something different. I don't like 'em as much as markers because a)they aren't as bright and b) they kill yer frigging hand...
