Catchfruit plants have long, thick, waxy leaves and grow to around the chest height of a joey. Tucked inside the leaves, a tall, thin-bodied fruit grows. While they resemble clawed paws, they're not able to move (though hatchling tall tales would tell you otherwise). The "arms" are brittle and crunchy with a slight, watery lime flavor to them. The clawed portion is dense, yet soft and flavored with a mix of citrus and edamame. When cooked it tastes like beans and marmalade. Most keke don't eat catchfruit leaves, though Fawns seem to like them, claiming they're bitter, yet satisfying. Hatchlings say "yuck!!" and then proceed to chase each other around, waving the fruits as menacing, tiny arms
