This Sculpture was/is a birthday present for my dear brother who had his birthday on the 26th.I had to send it in the mail, and was very stressed it wouldn't make it there unscathed. However I hear that it actually DID arrive safely (PHEW) and that he thought it was aye-ok!

Super Sculpey, acrylic model paint, small light bulb, watch gears, diodes, electrical wires, much love and stress.

I'm not sure if you mean the copper-y body or the grime coming from the eyes and joins and stuff, but YES, I did all of the effects by building up with acrylic model paints... Thanks!

that was mostly just using a "copper" coloured metallic model paint, STRAIGHT out of the bottle!
You can get a lot of really great metallic colours...
I also dry brushed some browns and blacks on top afterwards to give a slightly grungy effect, but what you see is mostly that copper paint...
