The first few days of Rodger being on base with the new recruits.. led to this incident. The brand new aircraft, top of his line for the time. Reduced to scrap. The humans responsible were all put on probation for a while till they could learn how to better fly aircraft.Months spent after then rebuilding him till he could fly on his own. Where he locked his cockpit away and never let another inside it.

You have that right. Rodger does live afterward and makes it through to this day.
