Yarka Watercolors on 140 lb cold press paper from Strathmore.

When i first looked at the photo, I was very inspired and thought that i could do this painting quickly and still make it look phenomenal. But When i started drawing the outline i realized that the suckers were gonna take a hell of a lot of time to finish... and i ended up doing this in two or three weekends rather than just one. However, I think the results were pretty phenomenal. One thing that disappointed me was that that color is realy dull on both the reference photo and the painting - sometimes i would get sick of looking at it and just take a break from painting it. So I need to work on keeping concentrated when painting more difficult things. Over all, i'm satisfied.

Prints and the original will be up for sale on my site. There are going to be more shots of this and of the reference photo in my scraps if you guys wanna see more.
