Description
For those who don't know, "Twitch Plays Pokemon" is a thing where some 100 000 people play the same Pokemon game at the same time. The Helix Fossil (and Omanyte/Omastar) gained a memetic status and now people are making fanart, comics, plushies, jewelry, sculptures, t-shirts, songs etc. for it. I didn't watch the game itself, but following the creativity of the fandom has been great fun.
The game is over by now, but here's my contribution anyway (Pokemon trainer designs based on (mostly) Omanyte).Β

Huh, neat!Β I kinda thought of what Helix Fossil trainers would look like as well, but in my mind (and due to the style and presentation ofΒ the meme'sΒ fan art) I imagined them as looking like these crazy middle-aged cultists who behave like the posessed Channelers in the Pokemon Tower and only use Omanyte and Omastar.Β Maybe I should draw my interpretation sometime...
