Another avatar piccy. Never tried this style before. I had a lot of fun with it though, and I'm a bit sad it's finished.Update:
I'm overwhelmed with the positive response this design has had. However, I have found instances of it being uploaded elsewhere without my permission. They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Please do not distribute this image 'in the wild' or I fear it will end up being used commercially against my wishes.
Yes, you can use the image for personal, non-commercial use but clearly credit me as the creator and copyright holder and please ask permission first, and when you use it, if you can link me a photo of its use this will help me determine the legitimate users from the copyright infringers.
And also, I really enjoy seeing what people make with my art!

Frustratingly, there are *lots* of dodgy "free clipart" websites that contain a large number of my designs and I've seen your art on many of them too. If I'm not mistaken, our works end up in places like these thanks to "scraper" software that pulls images from across the web using different keywords to find them. It's basically how search engines work but more insidious since there's rarely any way to trace back to where the image was originally uploaded to see if it's intended to be free to use or not. This makes it insanely easy for unwitting people to find our art and use them/sell them with no realization that they are, in fact, copyrighted works that were never intended to be free for the public to use. BUT, because these people found them on websites that stated they were "free" or "public domain", they have no clue that they are our infringing on our rights to our own intellectual property. It's a real headache and why I'm so aggressively against anyone reposting any of my works anywhere. The public is permitted to enjoy my designs within my official galleries and that's that. I also don't post anything these days that doesn't have watermarks and my email address contained within the image.

If you run the search "tribal wolf howl" on Amazon, there are numerous cases of this design being sold on everything from hats to shirts to infant clothing. The same seller was doing this with one of my designs but I reported all the listings to Amazon's copyright department and they've been removed now.

The cubs are in sixes as different colours and wolves, so I would like to have your image embroidered on to patch badges in Green, Red and Blue as each sixes insignia.

I had originally posted your pic, crediting you on Pinterest in 2010. Then added a pixellated post soon after.
Now there is someone ("puppydog" on braceletbookcdn.com) stating it as their original drawing and claiming copyright on it.

Yes, I'm quite certain I created this, as I was there at the time. It was a commission request that was never collected, so it's become my personal icon.
It has, however, since been copied and uploaded without permission elsewhere. The art you linked to was created some years after I uploaded this image.
