Dialogue for this one was tough. I wanted DT dignified and fairly understandable, but irritable and with a definite overreaction.

This may have been the time to deploy the most trite of all reasons, "it's not you, it's me." Just because the horse is dead doesn't mean you can't beat it in an attempt to aid your escape.

I didn't really like Snails in the show...but this series, with a more matured (but still quirky) Snails makes me like him...and pity him in this scene

I'm not sure maturing ever means being completely mature all the time. One just gets better at controlling it, I think.

Non like Discord. Though there is not telling what might happen when Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and I gut together.

Sadly not. :/ I like the pairing but it's not how this story goes.
I'm doing a more shippy fanfic starring them though, so I'll be drawing more Snails/Diamond for that later.

Some people do because he and Snips normally play the "boys are dumb" stereotype. Even I wasn't that fond of him until I put some thought into a story and realised that I so want this little pony to be happy! D:
