I notice the people in the background are in civilian clothes, do the Drachenwald not have the American garb rules?

Well I´m not actually a SCA member (yet) so I´m not sure but I think they do...
This is from an anual event called "Hägnan" which is open for the public...and they don´t have to wear anything special...

Cool. We of Wuffingas don't require garb until someone has come to four events. We figure after that they have to make up their mind about membership. Cool. Are you in Germany, or where?

Ah okey

Have you got a link to a webpage about Wuffingas?

Single stick at the barrier? A Pas d'Armes at a demo some where?

Yes I think that´s what it´s called...It was a SCA event called "Hägnan" in northern Sweden last summer and they had heavy fighting every day...

I'm in the SCA in Australia... I know a few Drachenwald folks (mostly Australians living there).

Ah okey
How long have you been in the SCA?

Drachenwald is europe....right?
As you can see I´m not actually a member of SCA (yet)
We (a LARP group) have some cooperation with the SCA group that arranges "Hägnan" so we live with them during that week and arranges some of the activities for the public, like archery and such..

I've been a member for 22+ years. I was the local Baron for a while, and just stepped down as chairman of the SCA Australia's Board of Directors, so I have been around a while. I first authorised for SCA combat in 1985, and still fight.

I've semi-finalled a few Crown Tourneys, and win a lot more than I lose, but there's always room for improvement. I train harder now than I ever have in 22+ years of being a fighter.

I've met a number of the Swedes in the SCA... a great bunch of folks, and the Finns are cool too.
