Lilly: Now, Ilyana I need you to report to Dr. Hu for your hospital shift and you two will follow Dame Renna so she can introduce you to your trainers for the next few weeks.

It's been 16 years and they've made lives here. Have you read Getting into Character: Confessions and Commitment? Illyana repeated tried to return to Earth once she found out the forest was full of portals. However just because she could return to Earth doesn't mean she would get her old body back and by extension her old life.

Lilly has some talented trackers as well as Kiara's last known location. She disappeared from radar when she entered the toy shop, but she was in that part of town when they lost track of her. An issue would be if the witch moved in the last 15 years or something else happened to her.
