John showed her the phone. "It-... It's just a phone," Adie said after a moment's pause. John rolled his eyes a little, "it may look like just a phone, but what's on it?" Adie looked a little closer. The screen of the device read "Size Changer" with a few different (unlabeled) sliders and a big pinkish-red button at the bottom that read "GO" in a sci-fi looking font. "Size changer?" she asked aloud. John was excited to explain, "This device is equipped with a system I've been working on that focuses a ray of molecules that allow for full control of the human body's internal metabolism." Adie's ears perked up at this, "So you're saying it can control how quickly my body digests?" John was practically beaming with excitement, "not only that, but it can condense and store any fat you've accumulated as well, meaning that you can get as fat as you want and I'll be able to bring you back to whatever size you'd like." Adie was a little suspicious of this, "It can store fat?" she asked. "Yes!" John replied, "Turns out that fat tissue is actually highly condensible. I also found a way to store the mass in some sort of separate dimension so the device itself won't weigh a ton when I've got a lot stored." His train of thought meandered a little as he continued, "I could hypothetically use this device as a shrink ray as well, but it doesn't work so well on bones. Based on my tests so far, this can probably store upwards of a million pounds worth of fat before I'd have to empty it." Adie raised an eyebrow, "Empty it?" John had a gleam in his eye, "Yes. It can also return any of the stored fat into whichever person I so choose." John was always a man of his word, but Adie thought he may have gone off the rails with this one. Still being (rightly so) skeptical, she decided that if this was a bluff, it was one she was willing to call. "Prove it," she said. John got a smirk on his face, "I thought you'd never ask."
