Attomyk was a troublesome kid. He was self-centered, and seemed to have no comprehension of empathy. The nook just wasn't a great place for him. Alma was hard-working indeed, but there were many wynglings to take care of at the nook, and she couldn't neglect the others to always chase after one. Attomyk needed someone who would teach him empathy, would teach him kindness to others and manners. Someone who would be firm, and would humble him, and Alma was too busy with the other wynglings to give the time to teach him that. But she knew someone that could help.

Attomyk sat on the ground in the hall, slowly chewing on a chunk of meat he'd snagged from the kitchen. It was his, all his. He didn't have to share with anyone! Attomyk deeply loved food, that had always been a constant in his life. Food had never betrayed him, never made him unhappy. It was always there, and he'd always be there for it. He tore off a piece of the steak, enjoying the deeply satisfying flavor when he heard Alma walking down the hall, talking to someone. Quickly, he shoved the rest of the steak into his mouth, chewing quickly and swallowing before rushing to go take a look.

A green wyngro was standing beside Alma. She looked vaguely familiar to Attomyk, though he didn't know why. He picked up a little on the conversation. "Troubled" "Can't give what he needs" "Take him home."

Attomyk's heart lifted, and he bounced forward. Whatever wyngling Alma was talking about, they'd have to be adopted another day because Attomyk would make SURE this time that he would be the one going to a nice comfy home. He raised his head, eyes shining with a calculated adorableness. "Hi!" he chirped, "My name's Attomyk, what's yours?"

Alma smiled. "And here he is now," she said warmly, gesturing down to Attomyk, confusing him. Alma had been talking about him? But he wasn't troubled by anything! He was the most carefree wyngling in the world! But he rolled with it, now almost certain he'd be getting out of this prison they called the nook. Alma continued, "Why don't you get to know him, Traumer?"

Traumer? That was a nice name, a good name for his mother. He raised himself to his hind legs (A difficult feat with his belly throwing him off balance) and raised his front paws up in a universal 'pick me up' signal. His heart was thumping in his chest. This was it, this was the day that he finally went home to a palace and became king for real. He'd finally be treated like the royalty he was.

He grinned up at her. "Nice to meet you."
