I'm okay with llama badges. I don't hate them, though I really don't see what purpose they serve. And I won't be offended if you give me a llama badge. But (and forgive me if this sounds picky) I would much rather get points than a llama. I can use points.If you prefer points to llamas, then feel free to use this stamp.

My problem with this is that most people give llamas as a way of saying "Hey thanks for faving my art". But you're asking for points, which makes me think "ok, you faved some of my art. Great. I'm not going to give you what is basically money because you liked my art". I'll give you points for commissions, or if your using it for a group/club that I'm in, or something like that, not because you like my art and I wanna say thanks. If people did that, then the people who hardly put any art work out there but fav a lot of things would have a lot of points and good artist would constantly be giving the points that they earned away. Points are payments, Llamas are thank you's.
And I'm not bashing you for think this way, but I want you to realize (and I'm repeating myself here) that points are money and not a lot of people (if any) are going to say "Hey! You

- Only giving points if you work HARD to earn your points
- I will actually check if you work hard like do commissions and adoptables etc
I wont if:
- you earn points by faving giving people llamas etc

Im the same way! I love llama's & all but i take point's over them anytime. Point's are so flexible unlike llama's.

You can't just cash in your llamas for points, no. But there is a page on DeviantART called ~llamatrade , where people will occasionally buy llamas for points (usually just 1-2 points each). If there are any open offers, they show up on the page. Nobody makes many points from that, though, since it's mainly just the same few people, and since you can only give a llama once.
