Description
Harmonious ElementStrength: +0
Magic: +0
Abilities: Form Boost, Combination Boost, Summon Boost
Forged from the Elements of Harmony, this Keyblade symbolizes the strength of friendship. Its passive abilities boost all friendship-related powers.
Come on, it's an obvious crossover, given the insane focus both series have on the power of friendship. Uniting the two together only makes sense… and even though it would never happen, a My Little Pony world would actually be kind of fun. Especially if Discord has teamed up with the Heartless for MAXIMUM CHAOS!!!
So, um… yeah. I've designed another keyblade. Obviously, this is My Little Pony themed. I actually had a LOT of fun designing this, and it was surprisingly easy. This is just a sketch, I'm planning to do a much more detailed version in a bit, but I finished the pencil drawing and started adding a bit of color to help the details stand out, and well, this happened. I'll move this into scraps when the final version is done.
Oh, and one little detail I forgot on this sketch is that the sparkles thrown off are the five smaller stars around Twilight's cutie mark.

When I saw it I'm all "Oh. Wait...OH."
Now I've really got to draw up "The Very Best!"

The finished version is even better, in my opinion.

"The Very Best"? Rainbow Dash-themed, I presume?

CHSSSSS cheesin' me off with that assumption.
NEIGH, I say, "The Very Best" is another all-6-er, and over-powered--not that that bit has to be implemented.
It's based around the sudden return of some certain 25 letters....

I'm working on the digital version already. It's looking REALLY cool, especially since I've NEVER done anything like this before.
I've also designed the crossover between Kingdom Hearts and Friendship is Magic. Really, it only makes sense, given the huge focus on friendship both series have. Oh, and for the record…
Sora is a pegasus (who can't fly yet, Rainbow Dash will tease him about this), Donald is a unicorn, and Goofy is an Earth. Their guest party member is Twilight Sparkle, who uses her unicorn magic to telekinetically throw environmental objects, summon Spike for a fire attack, and teleport. Pete and Maleficent are attempting to unleash Discord on the world, and then work with him towards their goals. Heartless unique to the world are themed after the three species of ponies, as well as gryphons. The Limit Break is "Magical Friendship," where Twilight begins to meditate, and Sora and her five friends work together in stages of attacks to defend her from attackers while she prepares: stage 1 is Applejack delivering a massive kick to one enemy, stage 2 is Fluttershy summoning a horde of butterflies to distract enemies, stage 3 is Pinkie Pie laughing and firing her party cannon to confusing enemies into attacking each other, stage 4 is Rarity summoning a treasure trove of gems from within the earth to send enemies flying, and stage 5 is Rainbow Dash zooming around striking each visible enemy once. And if you complete all of these before the limit meter runs out, then Sora and the other five form a six-pointed star around Twilight, who summons the Elements of Harmony for herself and her friends which combines with the keyblade to unleash a wave of rainbow light across the entire battlefield. The Keyblade for the world is "Eternal Friendship," a keyblade much like the Harmonious Element but much simpler, which enhances magic and provides a Combination Boost (so you can pull off the full attack on their world. )
Oh, and Rarity of course comments on the zippers and straps on our heroes outfits.
I came up with all of that in five minutes while running errands this afternoon. Truly I am a huge DORK.
PS: I also came up with a much sadder story for the Harmonious Element, but I will reveal that with the digital version.

This pleases me greatly.
LOL You may be a dork, but to me, you are brilliant. x3

Aww, well, thank you. I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it, I definitely had fun coming up with it.
Almost done with the new version. Just working on the "crown" for the teeth, then I'll get that put together with the rest, and then a chain to connect the charm to the keyblade…
I really am almost done, believe me. Oh, and speaking of Keyblades, I think I'd figured out why some of them look so odd and others look more realistic. Actually, for that matter, I've figured out why Keyblades look the way they do, period. At least, I think I do.

Well first, what do you mean "odd" and "realistic"? x3 Realistic as compared to...a real key?

Yes, I am aware I'm talking about giant magical keys, but… um… compare the two Halloweentown keys to each other: the Pumpkinhead, while spindly and odd, looks a tiny bit more like it could physically exist, while the Decisive Pumpkin has a weirder shape that looks like it came from Beetlejuice. Or the rose-themed keyblade Belle gives you in KH1 to the Rumbling Rose you get in KH2: the KH1 version looks a tiny bit more like a sword, while the Rumbling Rose is this weird vaguely axe/club-like weapon. And heck, you see keyblades made of ICE CREAM in KHBbS. And I think I have an idea how it all works.

Oh I see. xD No, I wasn't trying to make fun of you, I just wasn't sure what you meant by "realistic". When I said a "real key", I meant like a functioning key, with the handle, and the "teeth" and stuff -- like how the Metal Chocobo looks like a car key, but some of the keyblades don't look like any kind of key at all. x3

No, no, I wasn't insulted or anything, that's just how I tend to refer to any of my deep thoughts about Kingdom Hearts. "And I am talking about a game where you are battling monsters with a giant key and your best pals are Donald Duck and freaking Goofy, so I might be looking into this too much."
Also, Fenrir, not Metal Chocobo.
It's a weird idea, but not as weird as the stuff about branes and quantum mechanics. Also, I'm almost finished with the new version of the keyblade.

Yeah yeah, Fenrir. xD That one.
Well I'm glad to hear it's not as weird as the quantum physics one. x3 My simple brain can't handle concepts like that. x3

I don't think it's that you're simple, I think it's that I can't explain it well enough. And that it's just freaking insane. And that I'm probably misunderstanding every word I said in that explanation. And that I'm trying to make sense of a series where you're fighting heartless beings made of hearts with a giant key, a pantsless duck, and a talking dog.
But, in short (ha ha ha)…
The Keyblade might actually be more of a template than a physical weapon, with the keychains altering its appearance through the power of memories. In KH1, Sora tends to be given his keychains in at least a few circumstances, or find them in treasure chests, so those keychains are obviously physical objects. However, we also know that the Kingdom Key is most likely Sora's default keyblade (sort of like how Ventus' default keyblade is the Fresh Breeze: keychains just alter the appearance of his keyblade, and he doesn't have a Kingdom Key of his own). What MIGHT be happening is that the keychain carries with it memories, whether of experiences or simply of the world its from, and the keyblade takes those memories and alters them to fit the template, creating a new appearance. For example, the Jungle King keychain is a butterfly: Sora attaches it to the keyblade, and the keyblade draws on the memory of the jungle to create a form suiting it, in this case, hand-carved wood with leather bindings and a vine chain. The Pumpkinhead keychain was a gift to Sora from Jack, and the keyblade resembles him: long and thin, black like Halloween, with a spooky bat. The Fairy Harp has a red feather for the charm, and the keyblade itself seems to be made of pan flute materials, like what Peter plays on. Oathkeeper is made of materials from the Destiny Islands, but the memories attached to it are from the connection between Sora and Kairi, and so the keyblade becomes a shining ivory weapon. And so on and so forth.
Now, when we get to KH2, a lot of the keyblades aren't quite as solid or grounded as KH1's designs. But at the same time, only a handful of keyblades are gained from keychains given to Sora (like Fenrir, Gull Wing, and MAYBE Star Seeker). Also, it's highly unlikely that the Hero's Crest is using the actual Olympus stone, and we know that the Follow the Wind keyblade isn't using one of the cursed Aztec coins (because all 882 show up for the Reaper battle during the revisit), so the implication for a lot of the keychains is that they're not found artifacts this time around. My though is that in this case, the keyblade itself is making the keychains, which might explain some of the keyblade's more outlandish appearances this time around: the keyblade isn't working with a physical artifact that has specific memories attached to it, it's working off of many memories and consolidating them into a single weapon. Like how the Photon Debugger has Tron's identity disc for the charm: Tron clearly still has that, and Sora and the others weren't given discs that I've noticed, so it can't be theirs.
And yeah, I'm probably pulling all of this straight out of my ass, but I think with a bit of refining this might be a viable idea for what's going on here. Or at least viable enough to add to my Sky and Claire story idea.

LOL @ "pulling it out of your ass". xD But, the thing is, sometimes people can "bullshit" things and they WORK, and this works! That's what I wish Nomura was able to do -- bullshit, but make it make sense EVEN TO AN IDIOT LIKE ME.

What? Oh, no, what's not easy to understand about weapons named through puns based on a combination of three languages, Christian/Catholic symbolism, and metaphysical concepts such as philosophical zombies? I don't see how ANYONE could be confused by stuff like that.
