A version of one of my sketches as a cub. Took about 1/2 hour.Done in 2 and 6b pencil.

The eyes on that are amazing! He looks like he's looking down on some irritating cub who's being a pest, hehehe. Very good stuff

I was going for that mean, evil look. Though going by some comments here, and ones from FA I ended up with something cute
I guess I could try drawing a scene with 2 cubs playing like your thinking. Thing is I have never even tried to draw multiple characters in a scene before. Could be interesting though. Bet you had no idea you were even suggesting something

I'm working on a few more that will likely end up in scraps, even though they will be better (I'm drawing more helper lines to keep things even now).
Between drawing, learning German, and my new site I have almost no free time left.

im sure you could learn without classes, it all comes with practice, there might be a shading tutorial on here maybe?
