Description
An attempt at drawing a fox in 3 poses using a new way of sketching I came up with. It's much quicker than the way I use to sketch, and as such, I spent about 15-20 minutes per fox (I'd like to get it down to 10).Still some anatomy problems but compared to my work from just a month ago it's much better.
Done first in 2HB then darkened with 6B pencil.

Thanks, though it's going to take more than good line art to make good finished drawings. Anyone can ink a drawing in photoshop and dump in color. It takes skill to make it look good (something I sorely need work at).

Thanks, I'm almost there now. I sit here looking at my latest 2 sketches and I see something thats approaching the quality I want. One day I'll have to sit down and write a thank you journal to everyone who has helped and supported me over than last 2 1/2 months (thats a lot of people to thank).

Great work! These kind of poses can be a pain to draw, but you have drawn them very well! And like you said, your drawings really are improving

Thats why I drew them. I need practice at drawing bodies and this was the best way I could think of doing it. Nice simple drawings.

Thanks. The second one took the longest, but only because I have never drawn a fox upside down. I also could not find a reference picture so I had to go off memory of what our dogs look like when they do that.
And don't worry about the print request, it came as a shock to me when I first saw it lol (was thinking who would want a print of this) .
