The Polish version is even more wicked than this. It says "Zira has planned the future for all of her children. Kovu was to become king. Nuka's job was to make sure his brother won't get hurt. Vitani was to become queen". So basically they admitt all of Zira's children are siblings and still say Kovu and Vitani are to be king and queen. Although it has happened in ancient Egypt that siblings were king and queen together so maybe it isn't all that crazy.

Nope. I've seen this text in someone else's book (don't remember whoose). My own copy simply says that "As for now she (Zira) sent his (Kovu's) sister Vitani and brother Nuka to do spying in the pridelands". I may look at other SP books if I happen to be shopping for books, but I doubt I'd find something like this. Besides, it would be Polish, so probably not much of use to you.

I have the english version of this book and it says totally different, I bet they dummed it down for us sensitive english folk who can't handle stuff like that -.-

they also gave Zira one dark ear rim like Sarabi on one side (part of it isn't even colored) and on the other side she has the darkened ring like Kovu... and in the movie she has an upper dark ear tag. I love inconsistancies with TLK books 8) I've seen one where Nala and Simba's colors were swapped. It was the naptime comic I believe.

haha thats true. Vitani's red eyes "caused"by the fire, Zira's blue eyes, Kovu's brown mane flashing to black. Lack of Scar on Kovu at one part because they recycled an animation clip. XD

Naja, ich weiß ja nicht, was die macher sich wirklich dabei gedacht haben, aber es geht ja immer mal wieder das Gerücht um, das Vitani nicht mit Kovu verwandt is XD
aber als kind, muss ich zugeben, hab ich mich daran eigentlich nicht gestört

Naja, an sich is es in einem realen Löwenrudel möglich das Halbgeschwister sich paaren.
wie gesagt, villt. haben die Macher sich eben etwas anderes gedacht und nur nicht dazu geschrieben, aber ich halte es für einen Übersetzungsfehler, da ich grad erfahren hab, das im englischen steht, das Nuka UND Vitani Kovu beschützen sollten ^^
und wie gesagt, es gibt einige nette fan-storys, wo vitani eben nicht mit Kovu verwandt ist ^^ beispielsweiße auch ein paar, wo sie Nalas/Sarafinas Tochter sein könnte, weil sie ja blaue Augen hat etc.

Klar, natürlich ist das in der NAtur möglich (Und ich glaub auch nict das die Löwen sich da besonders drum scheren xD) aber ich finds, stellt man sich das bei Menschen vor... eklig. xD

Naja, ich glaub nicht daran das Vitani die Tochter von jemand anders ist. Im Film wird ganz klar gesagt das sie Ziras Tochter sei. Aber sind ja nur Fan-Storys, da kann man seiner Fantasie freien lauf lassen
