I've always had Artemis a character that could fly yet I never protrayed how she does that. As a sugar GLIDER she can only glide. But add forward propulsion with her boots/ head visor and we have LIFT! She uses air magic to control dirrection / speed and can reach pretty high speeds making air pressure tunnels to fly thru. ( She can use a similar system to swim in water but it's more difficult for her)
