I used www.shapeways.com to have it printed and this is the colored sandstone material.
I think the printer that was used for this is called Zcorp 650.

Amazing print. So surprised the tail didn't break off, at least when compared to the travesty of my Goldie 3D print at Shapeways. Every head feather was broke off, plus a few other parts at their facility.

I've gotten very mixed results with their shipping department with my Octavia print.
Half of the people that ordered one got theirs in perfect condition, while the other half had at least a broken tail or at most a broken tail and two broken back legs...I'm still not sure how they managed that.

American UPS seems to keep breaking them during delivery.
Most of the prints arrive just fine but there are always a few where legs and tails snap off due to wrong handling I guess.

These two pony models you've made are exactly what I'm looking for. They are really show-accurate, and printed at an affordable price.

I just realized that those pony models could be printed with shapeways....

Alas, my Octavia arrived with a broken tail as well. I managed to repair it basically seamlessly and she's sitting quite nicely in my display area.
I'm sending an e-mail to Shapeways customer support anyhow. The product did arrive damaged after all.
Regardless of any bumps in the road the quality is very much what I was hoping for. I very much look forward to getting Vinyl here to complete the set!
