Flying high in the night sky....

Kellan mastered the air.
Sam lay wrapped against his body. The black robe entwining Father and Son together.
The boy had buried his face in2 his Father's muscular chest.
Kellan relished in the contact.
His touch. His weight. The feel of his Son's warm bare flesh next 2 his own.
He could smell the boy's scent.
Sweet.... Musky....
Stroking the top of Sam's head, Kellan wondered at the miracle that was his Son.
'A weakness.... How dare they....' He thought.
The memory of the opposing council who had threatened Sam's birth still burned within him.
'They are the one's who are weak. Vision-less fools enslaved by tradition. And if any of them should harm you....'
The thought sent a chill through him.

He had warred before.....

Smiling, Kellan watched as Sam yawned.

The boy snuggled against him and then settled again.

'My Son....' He mused.
Looking up, he saw that they were approaching The Southern Gate.
Finally, home.
Kellan recited the incantation's that would open the Portal and allow them 2 pass through.
Bracing himself and making sure that Sam was safely enveloped in his robe-they crossed over....
