Hello everyone! I finally managed to muster up enough courage to post something here, it's kind've unnerving with all the talented artists here at dA. I hope I can make some new online friends in this community :3This picture was made with Open Canvas and Photoshop, just something to pass the time when I was supposed to be studying.

I think she looks like Miyuki (Miyuki in Wonderland by CLAMP) more than she looks like Kobato u__u ! I think it's because the color of her hair =/ ! But she looks really cute ! And colors are sweet ^^

This is a really nice polished little piece. The pose and colouring work really well. The details on the belt (Can not remeber the propername for it obi?) are a nice touch.

Beautiful ! The only advice I can tell you is to do the head 1/8 of the body but your stile is perfect and many mangaka do more big head like you

Thanks for the advice! :] The general accepted ratio for head-to-body is anywhere from 5~8, this character is supposed to be really short and childlike so I was leaning more towards five x3 But generally, like you said, I like making enormously tall, leggy girls.
I think maybe I have a hidden height complex ::short:: ._.

Do you do only digital work ? I do only traditional because I can't use the computer well

I do both x3 I don't have a lot of money outside my gadgets, it's all been 'invested' in my tech needs, so sadly I don't have the tools to do traditional art most of the time.
Traditionally, I do watercolor anime works as well as commissioned watercolor and oil portraits--I miss the 'undo' key when I'm working with watercolors.
