Description
I am still trying out different concepts at the moment. This robot is called Roamer. He lives one a planet where all weapons and weapon engineers were banned to after a huge intergalactic war. Roamer here works for one of the mad scientists. He roams the sewers tunnels of the scientist's fortress and cleans it of escaped experiments like the vicious T-Rats.Related content

Cool concept!
And looks as though it might even be able to right itself if thrown off balance or rolled over!

Thanks. Yes his arms should be long enough to pull him up.

It'd be cool to see something like that in action, maybe something similar to a RoboBlitz player skeletal armature? With included realistic physics!

I am not much of a programmer but maybe I will do an animation with him one day. Though at the moment I work on another animation for my Mechawhales. So it may take some time.

Actually, the cool thing about current game IDE's & SDK's is they are geared more toward artists and content creators rather than coders - so it makes it relatively easy to import assets and put together a level or scene. And then either play the level with your content setup as game items and characters(actors), or run cinematic sequences setup in some form of director's module, ie. the UDK MATINEE functionality in the UE3 Editor - most all of which normally have a Visual Game OOP interface , so the focus is mainly on the content rather than the technical aspects.
Although creating a physics enabled rig from scratch for your bot would be a chore in itself!
But would also be something awesome to see!
Great stuff! Love to see more!

Thanks! He reminds me a little bit of horror characters like Igor or Quasimodo. That is why I made him a servant to a mad scientist in his backstory.
