It has been 22 hours since a bloody coup has seen the government of the Shang Ta Imperium burned to the ground. The new self-proclaimed Praetor Rok-Tor-Ife has ordered all foreign agents off of the Shang Ta Homeworld of Monian 3.

After receiving an extraction request from Ambassador James Ratliff, Admiral Jackson Ramsay, the commander of the Terran 3rd Fleet, orders three ships to handle the extraction. Procedure would see only one ship involved, but Ramsay's instincts warn him to possible treachery.

Within minutes three Victory Class Battlecruisers depart Ventura Yards in the Lantara System. U.S.S. Victory CC-12412, U.S.S. Constitution CC-12413, and U.S.S. Hood CC-12434 make for Monian at their best speed. The plan will have Victory and Constitution remain outside the Monian System for backup while Hood proceeds in to handle the extraction.
