I haven't watched a superhero movie in a long time, but I really want to see Shazam when it comes out! It looks like it's going to be fun. I've been meaning to draw this since I saw the trailer a while ago, but oof, it got pushed back until now.So I decided to draw the Captain Marvels from Marvel and DC, since they're both getting movies and have the same name. Though I still call Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel because that's how I was introduced to her. Yeah I know this is Ms. Marvel's old design, but it looks way better than the new one in my opinion. Also, she doesn't look like a manΒ
My backgrounds feel so uninspired lately. But that's why I'm going to art school xD

Awesome! Both are drawn with clean lineart and well juxtaposed for drama. I agree, this costume for her looks much more dynamic n sharp. And I finally watched Shazam, it was a load of good laughs! π

Thank you! I really do like the older costume better. Not because it's more form fitting, but because it's a genuinely cool design. The black and yellow is really striking. And yeah, Shazam was awesome!

Carol Danvers Captain Marvel's design was good in the beginning until Marvel Comics decided to go crazy with her.
Anyway, nice artwork.
