I’m sure you’re all disappointed that I made this. All this time just for a sequel that nobody wanted or asked for? Wow!!! Using Yecow 's characters again?! Say it ain't so!! Oh well, I hope you enjoy it regardless. I don’t think you have to watch the other two to understand what happens in this one. Actually, please don’t watch them, they’re horrible. I’m not responsible for any eye damage you get if you put yourself through it. I’ve come a long way since the first two, so if you’re expecting the same kind of quality, you’re just going to be disappointed. That is, if you think this is good… I sure hope so. Isn’t it funny how I make one of these each year? What’s 2021 going to be, Dance Time 2.5? It definitely won’t be 4. I’m saying that now so I can’t make it later, of course. I have my own world to build, anyway. Maybe one day I’ll have lots of fans that like what I do, too. Well, even one is good enough for me, even if that one person is myself. Haha.

The quality of this improves the longer you watch it. When I started drawing the beginning, I was right in the middle of my dynamic figure drawing class (near the end of October,) so the anatomy isn’t that good. But it gets better as it goes on. Anyway, all the characters look kinda different this time. Well, the anime often looks different from the manga, right? Our styles are pretty different, despite what some people think. So everyone here is 50% skinnier. It’s easier to animate, what can I say?

Anyway, each time I do one of these I try to improve the production value. This time, there’s an opening and ending, like an actual anime, and there’s bad voice acting, too. Cool, right? And there’s more frames this time… a lot more. There’s over 2,000. Four times the length of the last one, yay... Anyway, I also tried to come up with clothing designs that were decent. I’m still not very good at that, so you can laugh at me if you want. I mainly wanted it to be visually distinct from the last two entries. The last one had a surprising lack of dancing, so. I tried to make it more like the first one. But the action from the second one is here too.

You thought the last part had references? This one’s chock full of them. As in, every five seconds you can probably see one. There’s also a lot of hidden visual easter eggs or whatever, so if you’re into that sorta thing, there’s a lot of stuff I hid in here that you can find. Yay. But I also tried to make it entertaining if you know nothing about the characters, too. The lore’s kinda all over the place but I did my best to piece it all together. I think I managed to reference nearly every drawing at least once, that’s kinda cool. If you’re a newer fan, you’ll see something, and if you’re an older fan, you’ll see something too. And, I’ve drawn every single character, all 53 of them. Yes, he really has that many. It’s a gift, to be sure. While I was making this, at least 15 more were made, and I wanted to sunset in Minecraft. But they all have good designs, so it felt good to draw them. The amount of screentime each character gets is relative to how much I like them, I guess. Yes, Hedgehog appears the most, why do you ask?

When I started this, I thought it would take six months at the latest. As you can see it took a little longer than that. Oh well, what can you do? Quality takes time. I wanted to make sure each character had their own role in the story. I mean, it’s not that they don’t now, but I mean, really, there’s not much to go off of. I’m in the minority of people that want to see that, I guess, so it doesn’t come up all that often. So, I’ve kinda taken liberties with it. I hope it isn’t really jarring.

Speaking of that, I’m a real fan of worldbuilding. It’s what got me into this mess in the first place. Seeing all those characters created in real time over the course of two years was an incredible experience. Sure the lore can get strange at times, but aren’t we all? Maybe it’s what happens to all the artists that end up on this site, who knows. A lot of it is unfinished though. I can’t stand unfinished stories, me being a person who can’t even simulcast an anime, so… I finished them myself. They’re in here somewhere. Just keep watching, you’ll see it. Of course, it’s all just speculation, so don’t take it too seriously. I tried to make it one coherent timeline, but, I’m sure that I’ve got things out of order. So it goes.

I still haven’t taken a single animation class, so this is pretty simple stuff you know. Just self taught things. But anyway, I hope you enjoy it. As for me, I’m going to take a break, finally. I’ve got a whole backlog of books to read that I’ve been putting off. And after that, there’s something else I’ve gotta do. What is it? Watch and find out! P.S.
