Otherwise known as Dance Time 2: Electric Boogaloo. How many of you were surprised that I did this?! Nobody, I bet. But I bet that one frame of Ethan through you off, eh? Well, he's in here... somewhere. Probably.Due to certain circumstances, Yecow is forced to go on a journey. Will he make it?! Aha, you've gotta watch it to find out.
Well, here I am again, with my magnum opus, with over 500 frames... Sometimes I think to myself, how did I manage to do this? Well anyway, this is the thumbnail for it. I wanted to go with a 90s kinda action movie poster vibe, so I used a lot of yellows and reds. Very interesting to try painting in someone else's style! It was strange not drawing the fingernails, but hey, what can you do. And yes, I'm aware that Yecow's eyes aren't that big (Well nowadays they are. But not in the reference I was using. You know the one.) But it looked kinda cool so I kept it. I also went with the colors for that Priscilla drawing I did a while back, since Yecow still hasn't drawn her in color. Sue me.
This time, it was an absolute joy to do. Krita is incredible, and is infinitely better than Photoshop. Not only that, but my motivation levels were completely through the roof thanks to this awesome picture my pal drew:

I'd been looking for an excuse to animate characters again, so this was the perfect opportunity. Of course, I could've just drawn a static image in return. But I wanted to make it something only I could do, so I decided to animate instead. I've learned a lot about visual storytelling in my comics class, so now there's camera angles, sound effects, etc. Hope it's not too bad. I still haven't taken my animation class yet (it's the coming semester) so the animation might be a bit strange at times. But hey, it's watchable!... I think. This is probably the last time I'm doing this though, I'm itching to give my own characters a spin. Unless of course, Yecow wants to do an animation collab with me. That'd be awesome.
I apologize in advance for any out-of-character moments in here as well. These guys don't exactly have that much source material (lol) so I kinda went with how I perceived them. I hope it's not too jarring. That said, I did make references to a lot of his stuff, so if you're a fan you might see something familiar. I also tried to emulate his style again (though apparently some people think our styles are similar?! Must be blind) but I used mine in some parts too. I guess I'm the family friendly rendition. No Michalengelo esque nudity here, no sir. Blood and gore are ok though *laughs in America*
So of course, Deviantart is completely irrational and decided to revamp their entire website instead of adding the completely basic function of adding thumbnails to a video on here. Plus, videos have a 12 minute maximum?! (Wow...) Looks like I gave myself core for nothing. So I had to put it on youtube instead. And yes, I put it at the end so you would have to read all of this ( I hope.) Now if you don't mind me, I'll be going through my 1,000 notifications.

Oh yeah, naturally! If I put it at the top, nobody'd bother to read my novel. It does feel like a while since I've been on here, yeah! When I was working on this, it was pretty much all I did every day, so the days would start to blend together. I now understand why people work on animation teams, lol. It's a lot for one person to do.
I knew you'd pick up on the Street fighter music! I put it in there as an easter egg. And I'm surprised so many people liked my style of humor! When I was writing this I thought, nobody's going to think this is funny. Glad I was proven wrong.
Yep, Hedgehog is pretty much Sonic here, down to the voice and everything. I keep telling Yecow, "You can't name a character Hedgehog and not expect Sonic references!" And the whole fish thing happened because it's one of the few things listed in Priscilla's bio that she actually likes. I think Priscilla's a pretty terrifying character at times, though Yecow doesn't really draw any horror or gory stuff. I decided to pick up the slack xD
The fire part was definitely the most fun to animate. It was really simple to do when I figured it out, but it looks really impressive. As for the deterioration, everything after the fire scene lacks shading because I couldn't be bothered to do it anymore. There's also a lot of small uncolored spots that the paint bucket tool didn't get. I don't think anyone noticed though, so that's good!
Yeah, of course I gave you a shout out, your critiques and commentary are awesome! You've definitely helped me a lot during my time on here, and I'm very grateful. Doing this animation was a lot of fun, and I think I'm ready to finally take a class on it this semester in school.

Well, if you've got a computer, it's pretty simple nowadays! I used a free program called Krita to make this. It's easy to learn!

Hey, arigatou gozaimashita! Thank you for watching it, and enduring the cheesy ending credits and stupid humor, lol. Sorry about the last part just being storyboards, I wanted to meet the deadline that I set for myself. But yeah, I have no idea how this ended up being as long as it ended up being . I wrote the script and thought "This'll be 5 minutes or so!" But when I storyboarded it I guess that made it a lot longer. Ah well, I like it the way it is xD
Aha! So I did trick you with that one picture of Ethan! I honestly thought you knew I was doing this the entire time, what with the animal videos and that one still frame of Priscilla I posted. Looks like I've got a pretty high sneak level. And for the backgrounds, I just went off the lore you posted. You might see something that's a reference if you look closely!
Don't worry about repaying me or anything, you've already did that by giving me the motivation to finish this, (and giving me all those months of core membership...) Really, I just did this cause I love your stuff! You've got a whole world full of lore that is begging to be explored. I really loved the Priscilla scene, you got her creepy side perfectly, and that dual scalpels are a perfect weapon too, but the one that got me the most is the fish, so cute!!
I love how you portrayed Yecow’s character as a guy who fights with brains instead of brawns. Its so cool! I didn’t imagine he’d be that much of a thinker! Plus you did a drawing of female Yecow, that’s so awesome, I love it!

Sneaky and under the radar is my style! I definitely wanted to show Priscilla's more scary side, since it hasn't been shown yet. And yeah, the only thing I knew that she liked was fish, so I found a way to get that in there somehow. I think she's the most formidable opponent aside from Levi, so calming her down was the only way that Yecow was able to win.
I didn't originally plan on making Yecow as smart as I did actually (lol) but I had to think of a way that he'd beat Levi, who's way more experienced. I think it kinda fits him better than I thought! And I mean, that one drawing of female Yecow was just based off the two you did a while back. Did you spot them in the beginning? By the way, why'd you make his sleeves so long? In the original picture they're like the size of his entire body lol.
Hey, you don't have to keep thanking me! I should be thanking you for making such awesome characters and lore and such. It was so cool to read all the lore again to make sure everything was just right when I did this. The worldbuilding's the hard part, but working off of something that already exists is easy. So really, thanks for your creativity!

Well, you’ve shown her scary side perfectly, hahaha, and thats without using her abilities. You’re right! I think she can be one of the strongest characters I have if she chooses to do so. Genetic manipulation can be a scary thing.
Haha, I see! That’s one way to beat Levi, yeah! And yes, thats an awesome drawing, that female Yecow you did! Its so sexay! Haha, those looong sleeves, I think they're mainly aesthetic, but might’ve used it to glide in the air, hide weapons and stuff, or use it to bind someone. Colors wear those robes. Yecow, being blue and Baroness as red. They’re a special fabric, the wearer can alter its length and style at will, so none is identical.
You did a really great job on supplementing my lore with your own creativity! I love it that it aligns and blends with my ideas, and adds more to what I have. You have a very good imagination too!

My imagination's a weird thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Your stuff just really inspires me to do create something! I've started working on my own stuff more after this, too, and got a couple books on worldbuilding and the like. And really, you've helped me out in the past too! I'm really bad at clothing design, and your outfits that you drew were really cool. I still use them actually, haha. What can I say, I'm no fashion expert. Even in the animation everyone just wore a boring old gi with different colors (very original.) Maybe one day I'll get it, I don't know. But I'm glad I was able to expand your universe a little bit!

Ah, yes, Imagination’s a weird thing, its vague and inconsistent and might change in a snap, but it is where true freedom is, unrestricted, unbound by logic, laws of physics and society.
I’m really glad I could help you in some way. And, don’t worry, you’ll soon learn clothing design, its not that hard, who knows, you might even start your own clothing line, hahaha! And no, I really am not good at designing clothes, as you can see, my gallery is full of naked people! Bahahaha!
