I've given up. If I can't suppress this feeling, then I'll roll with it. Looks like this is a romance account now. I don't even really like that genre... but what can I do about it?? Anyway, I've decided to really commit to my decision to work on perspective this time. I've started in the past, but I always ended up going back to the easier angles after a few drawings. Not this time! I'm going to do it until it comes second nature to me. It's true that I became really good at doing simpler angles relatively quickly, but it started to feel like my art was becoming manufactured by doing the same thing all the time. I was starting to get tired of it... but on this one, the perspective made it really fun. Even the background wasn't tedious! I hope those feet turned out okay. They always give me trouble... grr. Now you know why I have to draw them all the time.

Uriel: Alice, what are you thinking about? You've been looking at the ceiling for a while now.
Alice: Oh, Mr. Uriel! It's Mr. Gavin... he's such a gentleman!
Uriel: I don't know what you see in him... every time he appears, he's covered in some kind of filth. Blood, dirt, sweat...
Alice: He can't help being dirty! He's a knight, after all.
Uriel: I know that, but... you'd think that he'd clean up after he does a job, at the very least. Is there a reason why you're thinking about him now?
Alice: Yesterday, he read me poetry that he'd written himself! It was so romantic... even though I'm a commoner, he treats me like royalty.
Uriel: Anyone can say pretty words, Alice. I'd be wary of his advances towards you.
Alice: Mr. Uriel, you're so stubborn! Why don't you trust Mr. Gavin?
Uriel: Because that's my job as your guardian angel. I can't let you become romantically involved with whomever tickles your fancy.
Alice: But Mr. Gavin is different! He really likes me, I think. Ever since I met him, he's been acting so nice towards me.
Uriel: Just be on your guard, is all I'm saying... it's not good to think about someone all the time. Aren't you supposed to be studying?
Alice: Well... yes... I've got my bible here, see?
Uriel: *What good is having it there if you aren't reading it?*
