After doing two established mechas I wanted to see if I could make some myself, based on my characters. Not too bad, probably a little simplistic but not horrible. I've still got a ways to go. How do you get good at making mechs, anyway? Just practice a lot? Probably...Related content

That's a great idea! I managed to find 2 pdfs about mecha drawing based on your suggestion. I'll peruse through them and see what I can learn. Funnily enough, I flipped through one, and the "step one" of drawing a mecha looked like what I drew here. And there were three steps... yeah, my stuff's pretty basic lol. Gonna definitely look at some references!
