After a few seconds, the Riolu jumped up suddenly, with his eyes wide opened. “Quick! Noir! Hold them for me! They are still alive! I can sense their auras!” Leon exclaimed, while climbing out of the pit. He passed the two poor ones to Noir. The Haunter cradled them with care.

The Riolu dashed to the nearest berry tree for some Aspear berries. Two of them he picked, just enough for the victims. He headed straight to the tent, unzipped the door and dived in. A few clinks and clanks later, Leon shouted from the tent. “MERI, GET PREPARED TO START A FIRE!”

Meri was still crying, even though she knew the two Pokemon were still alive. However, she stared at the ones in Noir’s hands and reckoned she could not stay like this, doing nothing. She shook her head a bit and drifted atop of the area where the floor was burnt, while using Sunny Day. The weather was so abrupt that she could only manage a Sunny Day to a certain degree, which is only the area under her. The Castform had also transformed into “Sunny” form despite of the change of weather. Her mask turned bright yellow and her head was surrounded by orange, translucent cells. The lower part of the body had turned white, resembling a wisp of cloud. With seven orange ovals attached to the top of her head, Meri looked like a sun, shining brightly.

Noir was again, overjoyed to see all the changes. He would love to smile and praise at how beautiful she looked, but when he looked at what were in his hands, he knew it would be best to keep his mouth shut.

Things under Meri’s sunlight were slowly heating up. Leon came out of the tent with a bottle of yellowish-green juice; it was probably freshly-squeezed Aspear juice. His other hand held a magnifying glass, a little box and some thick towels. The Riolu ran to where Meri was. Knowing what they were about to do, Noir glided through the chilling air to where his teammates were.

The anxious Riolu picked some dried grass around and scattered it in the middle of the burnt sticks. Then, he opened the little box which contained dark-colored tinder. He grabbed some out and put it on the grass he just picked. He then used the magnifying glass and focused some energy of the sunlight onto the tinder. With Meri’s help, it started emitting smoke. Seeing that, Leon blew the tinder a few times. It was then engulfed by an ember. The fire was quickly spread onto the grass. Leon picked up some new sticks and aligned them orderly around the campfire. It became so much warmer now that there was a fire. It seemed rather stable so Meri stopped using Sunny Day and turned back into “Snowy” form.

“Try to open their mouth, Noir. We need to get them to drink this.” Leon said. Still worried, his eyes squinted quite hard. Noir did as he wished. Leon then poured some of the juice into the two victims’ mouths. The juice took into effect pretty fast, the two grass Pokemon had turned less blue, but they were still resting on Noir claws as if they were frozen. Leon wrapped both of them with the thick towels to keep them warm and placed them cautiously near the fire, making sure they were not burnt by it.
