Description
After seeing many an under-optimized photoshop workspace from people I watch, I gathered together many useful tips I've learnt to get anyone working a bit easier in photoshop. I'm sure theres people that have done this very thing before, but I thought 'what the heck' and tried it myself. Its a large image by filesize and dimensions, but worth every second it takes to load. so please, check it out !!! ^__^

OH~ this is cool!!!
Even though I've had photoshop for a good year now, I still don't know a whole lot about it.
The Scratch size thing is pretty handy! thanks for making this!

- LOL !!!!! they look softer than yours? can you verify that with a picture perhaps? XDDD (I'm joking obviously! I just felt like saying that)
^^ thankyou... most of that was learned through experience, but the biggest help - re-organising the tabs, was something I picked up.

Cool stuff. Would you do a tut on colouring sometime please? ^^ Also, have you skinned your desktop? Mega cool! And CS2, I found that a bit slower than CS. But there are more tools!
What did you think of CS2?

HaydenM In reply to LTZ [2005-09-13 02:12:56 +0000 UTC]
well.. as for a colouring tut, I *could* do one, but it doesn't seem likely.... its hard for me to begin to explain how I do my stuff... it just.. happens o.o
as for how my shell looks, its using a theme from future releases of Windows! hehe. Overall I didn't notice much difference in performance. the thing i hate least about CS2 is all the extra programs that were bundled with it... I was just used to Photoshop and Imageready, but anything more is just useless to me x_x

CS2 seems to come up with lots of rubbish like "photoshop_cleanup.exe" in the task manager, or whatever it's called, and it slows the whole package down. :/ That's what I find. Although I do like some of the new CS2 tools.

oh yeah.. I hate those too. No matter how often I find those files on my HD and delete them before I load CS2, windows regenerates them. T_T worse than some spyware I'd say.
