Description
SO four of Sunhowl 's daughters are up for tryouts! This ends on March 1st, unless there's not enough suitable bids. Then I'll extend. Designs and art made by grim1ore !Here's what you should know about the girls. They are the result of a fling, Sunhowl and Chestnutpelt not ever becoming mates. Their mother now has a new mate. How they feel about their mother and their stepfather is totally up to you. They have one deceased sister, Nightshine, who was killed in the battle against the rogues. They also have a sister, Elmblaze. They are all 28 moons old. They have one sister, Elmblaze, who is being created by xDelionx as well. They also have adoptive sister of sorts, TheFearlessHamster 's Lynxshade. They are all female and I would prefer that they identify as female as well! Just because it's cute calling them all Sun's girls xD I may be willing to purchase limited traits for these girls! I can also buy character slots and accessories. You may use this art on their applications, just credit grim!
NOOWWW moving on to specifics about each girl! They all have names and predetermined personalities. This is slightly flexible and you can of course add to them if you wish. Names may be flexible as well!
AMBERPELT:
Queen bitch. Amberpelt looks much like her father and she's taken some of his more unsavory traits. Amberpelt is vengeful. Wrong her and she'll find a way to get back at you, tenfold. She doesn't get along with her father the greatest... Actually she doesn't get along well with anyone unless they kiss her paws. She has very little patience for anyone. A lof of times she's at odds with Ebonyspeckle, who doesn't exactly appreciate the way that she acts towards their father at times.
EBONYSPECKLE:
Ebonyspeckle is usually a pretty light-hearted girl. She isn't wound up too easily... unless it's Amberpelt pushing her buttons. The two never really seem to see eye-to-eye. Ebonyspeckle tries her best to see the good in others and enjoys the small things in life.
ECLIPSEHEART:
Eclipseheart is sweet as honey. She's by far the kindest of the whole family, always trying to look out for others. She worries over her father constantly, especially when he's feeling sick. Of all of the girls, she was the closest to Nightshine... so when her beloved sister died, it traumatized her. She has since become a little more quiet and skittish, though her heart has plenty of love to give. Whenever there's family drama, she prefers to hide.
TWILIGHTBROOK:
Twilightbrook was given her name due to her calm nature, like a gently flowing brook. Twilightbrook is a lot like Ebonyspeckle in the sense that she doesn't get worked up very easily. Whenever Amberpelt and Ebonyspeckle butt heads, Twilightbrook is usually the voice of reason trying to break them up.

Twilightbrook is the most relaxed and reserved of her sisters, she never allows herself to become overwhelmed or over sensitive to anything. She's always able to keep her head on her shoulders and stop to think about a situation before acting on it. She's usually the mediator between her sisters-- knowing them better than any cat-- and is able to step in and help them solve their issues.
Twilight is very mellow, but that doesn't mean she doesn't speak her mind. If something needs to be said, she'll say it bluntly and without any hesitation.
She tends to stick her nose into issues if she sees they aren't being solved efficiently, which can ruffle some pelts with her clanmates-- but she doesn't seem to ever care what they think.
Despite being very sweet and caring towards her sisters, she doesn't care very much for many of her clanmates- if a cat manages to catch her attention and keep her entertained for longer than a few minutes than that cat is a very lucky, or...unlucky individual.
Twilight can be seen as rather grim, she doesn't like to beat around the bush as said previously- and if an outlook for her clan seems to be grim she won't hesitate to say so. She strongly believes ignorance is no way to live, and that those who indulge2 in it are idiots.
Did you have any limited trait ideas? Nope, not atm! Though I plan to probably give her some accessories
Thoughts on their father: Twilightbrook loves her father and respects him above any cat in Shadowclan, he's the only tom she ever bothers to listen to and hes the only one who can keep her from sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. She takes after him in more ways than one, and is proud of that.
Despite her strong admiration she doesn't spend much time with him unless he offers her his company, more out of respect and not wishing to be seen as a hovering daughter.
RP sample:
Twilightbrook made her way into camp holding a small vole in her jaws, hunting had been slow these past few moons so it was nice to bring something back for a change.
Her eyes landed on her sisters, Amberpelt and Ebonyspeckle- who seemed to be at eachothers throats again.
The molly sighs dramatically, plopping the pathetic vole into the freshkill pile before trotting over to her growling siblings- ears perked and eyebrows raised in a very relaxed, yet unimpressed expression.
"You both are acting like kits, what's happened this time?"
Despite her words, her voice was soft as she settles down and curls her tail around her paws with a small probing smile.
Her expression didn't change as Amberpelt spat at her, recalling the horrific details of Ebonyspeckle stepping on her tail- and Ebony spitting back, although quietly and quite sarcastically, that Amber should keep her tail shoved up her behind if she didn't want cats stepping on it.
Before the two could get into another hissing match, Twilight raised a paw between them-
"Amberpelt, go cool off. Ebony, watch your tongue- you can talk to eachother again when you act like warriors and not kits."
She states simply, never raising her voice or narrowing her eyes.
As the two walk off in separate directions Twilightbrook sighs a bit and lets out a small chuckle,
just another day in Shadowclan...

sweet loving generous focused practical
eclipse has a genuine love for all cats, and is determined to treat everyone, clan cat or not, with kindness and respect. she's mostly cool and quiet, though not without the occasional outburst, and would 100% give up her own resources to take care of others. she's usually the brains of an operation, as she's got little to no physical strength, and is very analytical; if there's a plan being cooked up, she's definitely behind part (if not all) of it. eclipse knows she will never be strong, fast, or agile enough to serve her clan efficiently through hunting or fighting, and instead focused herself on offering every bit of brain power she has to shadowclan.
relenting sensitive forgiving trusting
she is not stubborn in any way, and willing to give up the fight pretty quickly if someone else seems more determined to have their way (as long as they're not trying to do something against the warrior code). she trusts her clanmates (and anyone, really) to do the right thing, and usually it doesn't bother her to relent to another cat's way. even if she's wronged or hurt, eclipse will eventually forgive, as it's her nature to give second chances... and third chances... and fourth chances... there's really nothing you can do to lose her trust forever. her voice and actions very much betray her feelings, and when she's upset, she finds it difficult to keep her voice and body from shaking.
timid foolish weak-willed subservient sensitive
eclipse is not fond of confrontation, quite the opposite, actually. she tries her very hardest to avoid being involved in heated discussion, and when she is, she's more prone to choking or tearing up. she knows this about herself, and is almost desperate to give in whenever she can sense a fight building up; she will give up her stance, no problem, to avoid the feeling she's left with after an argument. eclipse sometimes wishes that the clans were one, and that every cat could get along, even if she knows it's a little foolish. she just cant stand the way some of her clanmates are so ready to jump at another cat's throat, just for disagreeing with them.
*extra note: not a personality trait, but i have a lil headcannon that, while she's by no means sickly, she's actually very susceptible to illnesses when they pass through the clan; there hasn't been a time where she didn't get sick during an outbreak, though she's never been the point source of it. this would be partially caused by the fact that she is always giving up her food in the winter, when sickness is most common, and simply isn't able to fight them off.
did you have any limited trait ideas?: could her dark markings be considered somatic mosaicism? if not, that's totally fine, it's just something that came to mind when i saw her c: i also thought it may be interesting if she developed epilepsy later on (possibly from an injury to the head or just late onset) like her father (this would come later as i'd want it to be character development for her, i'll work up to paying for that one if you're alright with it).
thoughts on their father: eclipseheart loves her father very much, and worries over him constantly. she checks up on him regularly and does her best to find out how he's feeling in the least-patronizing way possible. internally, eclipse will usually side with sunhowl, whenever amberpelt gets snappy, but wont ever speak it out loud in favor of keeping her family intact. she feels closest to him, bonded by their shared grief over her sister's death.

Eclipseheart bustled into camp, hardly minding the frozen bristles that caught her fur as she pushed through the entrance. She was quite pleased with herself to have had a successful hunt; indeed, in her jaws she clutched a lizard and a frog, and two small mice which hung by their tails and swayed with every pawstep. In her throat rose a light purr, and she held her tail high as she trotted towards the fresh-kill pile. The weather had only just begun to turn, biting at every cats' ear tips and paws, and Eclipseheart knew a large amount of her hunt would be attributed to luck, but she didn't mind. She placed her catch neatly on the pile but, though hunger nipped at her own stomach, she left everything and took up only a mouse. Spotting Sunhowl, she bee lined it for the golden tom. "Father, are you hungry?" she asked, her mew muffled slightly by the prey.

[ Charismatic ] - Ebonyspeckle always has a charming tone in her voice, every sentence she speaks is fluid and convincing. She can easily make a friend or acquaintance by having a small or even rushed chat.
[ Competitive ] - Loves to challenge others, loves to make sure she can win in all things, and that means discussions as well. She can sway just about anyone. She likes a good skirmish, especially when challenged. Quite a little competitive streak she has. Especially with her sister Amberpelt. Ever since the pair were little, they'd butt heads.
[ Patient ] - When dealing with crisis, Ebony prefers to listen to their story first and patiently wait out or think out an alternative.
[ Thoughtful ] - See above. This can sometimes be a burden to herself, as she prefers to think a long time about a solution before ever coming up with one.
[ Boisterous ] - She can be rather playful and spontaneous when it comes to others around her. Though mostly she keeps to her own devices.
[ Calculating ] - Ebony wont just let anycat step all over her. She may be nice and sweet, but that doesnt mean she wont harbor a grudge.
[ Ambitious ] - All her life she's wanted to reach for the stars. Now it seems she finally has. Does that stop her from reaching higher? Oh no. Of course, she's only ambitious when it comes to Amberpelt. And quietly so.

Thoughts on their father: She loves her 'Papa' and tries to stick by his side. She knows of his condition and wants to protect him best she can.
RP sample: Darkness had never before infiltrated like a cloaked cobra within a lone tomcat's mind than it was doing so now. And by alone, the author would like to point out the depth of just how truly separate the cat was from any other living creature. Emptiness surrounded the unconscious feline form as if there had been a plague upon the land...and indeed there had been. The flood had destroyed everything in it's thirst for lives to take. Now, not a sound from any living creature could be heard...save from the eerie cacophony of water droplets echoing across the flooded land.
A solitary water droplet seemed to be on a curious quest. It seemed to be aching to move ever closer to the lump of unmoving fur as it slid down, down, down from the grey skies above. Whole trees from other Clans had been uprooted from the rush of floodwater just days past and became stuck on the now tree-like, water-filled, copse of heather which used to be called HeatherClan. The drop continuously clung to branches, vines, eventually even slanting stone all in order to reach the figure of the golden feline.
And this was how Spikerapture had been reawakened. The water droplet became the final straw upon the ever-leaning haystack to make it fall and to awaken the HeatherClan tomcat.
He thought about this each time he paused and looked back in his journey to get to his lost love...if she were even still alive. Tears clung to his eyes at the pain but he shook them away and pushed onwards...It had been a moon now of travel and sure she must be closer than ever to him now. Spikerapture hadn't spoken for the entirety of his travels, unable to after he had woken up (most likely due to shock), and his rib cage was apparent...no prey had been spotted for miles of the flooded area; thus, empty belly on a daily basis for the weakened tom. On top of all this, his head hurt like a violent fire raged within him. He realized it must have been whatever knocked him out when he was trying to help cats cross the waters when the flood only just begun-him being a strong swimmer and all from RapidClan seemingly a lifetime ago.
Scents now. The tom froze. Jade green eyes dilated as he held his breath and crouched down. In fear? In excitement? In hope? Who was coming towards him? Had he found the new base of his Clan at long last?

[+] Creative/Clever - Amberpelt is a resourceful feline who's mind sometimes manages to come up with creative ideas and shortcuts whenever problems, or in just normal situations, arrive to have to need them, something different then what everyone else normally does. Not only a knack at sometimes coming up with ideas to do, but sometimes she manages to come up with clever things to say and/or reply with which can sometimes add to her charm.
[+] Calm - Amberpelt knows when it's time to grow calm and keep her emotions down for a while, and she's known for being able to keep her cool in situations that call for it and it takes quite a bit to cause the molly to spit her anger out at others. Thoughts on their father: She's looks up to her father, but is often afraid to admit her admiration and love for him. She's got a temper much like himself and see's a lot of what she is, inside him. She would do anything to get him to finally smile at her.
