Description A nice little chart to help me keep things consistent, And some lore to put things in perspective.

I know it looks bad it's supposed to I'll move it to scrapes in a bit.

The U.G.F. period was the longest and most brutal segments in the history of the RIG; It contains,
the first ever example of powered armor without the need of an exo-suit.
The military take over of the separate Vityrian states to form the U.G.F. (Unified Government Forces)
The Conquest wars. A 30 campaign that culminated in complete U.G.F. victory. At the cost of over 75% of the populace.
The first colony ships depart for the vast unknown.
The creation of the U.G.F. Space Navy
The subjugation of a hostile alien race. This would set the precedence for future encounters with extra terrestrials.
The Outbound Flight. A city state that had surrendered early in the war and kept it's neutrality was now pressed to join the U.G.F. they refused and managed to steal enough transports to assault the Space dock. They succeeded in stealing several vessels and plotted a course for the unknown territories.
The black project known as FR-02N FO-57 is quietly started. It is quickly forgotten.
The first ever civilian election to a position of power in the U.G.F.
The citizen betrayal masterminded by the 7th civilian elected official. This would lead to the Corp-Mil contract, a contract to allow corporations to buy planets and populations and use them for whatever purpose they see fit while the Military would receive vital supplies to return to Central (the home world) and put down the rebellion. Central would be ravaged by chemical and biological weapons.
This lead to the reformation into the R.G.F. (Reunified Government Forces)

The R.G.F. period in comparison was much simpler; it contains,
Separation of Core and rim worlds militarizes.
Planetary succession. Corporate planets would sometimes have a power hungry individual attempt to break away from the control of the R.G.F.
Creation of the Shadow Marshals. 100 Marshals given the singular order to protect the core worlds.
The first planet crack operation.
Establishment of the Space Bridge Network. A sort of portal to allow instantaneous transportation of ships from a fixed point.
Probes find evidence of the Outbound flight in another galaxy. Construction of a gate network becomes top priority.
A new leadership council is made establishing Forming the RIG (ReunIfied Government)

The RIG period was the begin of a new massive conflict.
A.I. Program is started. Results in the creation of Active Intelligence.
The Boarder gate connected the two galaxies is finished. 100,000 ships muster at the location.
Emergency signals are received through the gate with code similar to U.G.F. code. The Assault force follows the signal and discovers the Outbound flight along with their alien allies the Union of Civil Nations. War breaks out.
A truce is brokered.

    The Calamity
The Solar Mass appears
89% of RIG fleet assests are lost.
Central is destroyed.
Command structure is wiped out.

    Collapse
Union of Civil Nations takes over RIG worlds.
Status of RIG unknown.

What the hell is the Solar Mass and how the hell did it do that, assuming these events are connected.

Np =3 And thanks. It's pretty long and complex, but technological advances give away what time period everything was in when it was made.

Loving where you're taking this, man.
Also, is that a little radar-thing on the helmets of those RIG soldiers? :3

Hazard-Trooper In reply to C05M0NAUT [2016-03-20 20:20:02 +0000 UTC]

It's a vision enhancement. It lets troops see the battlefield as the battle computer see. Thermals, drone feed, radiation scans, etc. It would kinda look like a video game once you had full coverage.

I would've wrote more, but it was six am.
