Windows Shortcut Arrow Editor allows you to remove the shortcut arrow in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista or set it to the nice custom icon. It works properly in both x86 and x64 editions of Windows and does not require to be installed. I saw that many users want remove shortcut arrow in Windows 8, so I decide to create a tool. The "Windows Shortcut Arrow Editor" has malware and will in Win 8.1 prevent access to Windows Update and other Control Panel features.

I am using it atm with my 8.1 and am having no problems. Sorry you could not enjoy this awesome tool. Hope you figure it out.

The Windows Shortcut Arrow Editor does not have malware, it is a hacking tool. I use hacking tools all the time and have had no problem with them. The reason it will not pass any anti-virus is because of being a hacking tool and a lot of them will be flagged as malware just for that reason. If you have no idea what you're doing you can ruin your computer. In the list of supported OS' Windows 8.1 is not there, so that information is obvious.
