I choose a pinto as the horse for spring. The white and brown spots make me think of patches of snow on muddy ground. Lilacs are one of my absolute favourite flowers and they go so well with the soft purples, yellows and pinks of spring. 11x14 watercolour on illustration board. Pinto is more of a color type, but this horse looks more like an Arabian, which is a good, and most loved horse.

Daisies, daffodils and lilacs, wonderful flowers to go with this one. This would be my grandma's favorite of the set, with all the lovely lavenders in it.

this is very gorgeous... the purple works very well, as well as the pinto. you chose perfect colors. being able to map out details and colors on something so intricate as a carosel horse is hard to do nicely, and you're really good at it! awesome work
