Ah, is there anything that makes me happier than painting horses? How's about horses with all kinds of fancy bits? And let's put it on a stick and make it a carousel!At any rate, here's the final for Carousel Winter. Whenever I do a set of seasons, Winter always turns out to be my favourite. I haven't finished the other three yet but I think I'm going to hold to that rule

Oooh...! I can see why this one is your favorite, the details are amazing. Beautiful snowflakes on the folds, and tassels and hanging crystals are always great on carousel horses. Your limited use of color to imply shape and depth is wonderful!

So pretty! I love grey horses--mostly because my horse was grey. I also live carousel horses. Best of both worlds. ^_^ I really like how it looks so wintry but not x-massy or any other winter solstice holiday, just winter. Very tastefully done.

Hmm.. You've got a nice colorsceme and i love your vision of horse anathomy, the muscular system, the thick and strong (almost like a shire horse) body type. My first love was the peacock carousel horse. It would be a wonderful thing to have them on the desk, in the form of 20cm figurines.. =/
