weren't brought up so...yeah. o_O; mostly just the
blending part...

i'm not sure what else to say. this is my first real
tutorial so...xD uhm..enjoy it D:

This was a really great tutorial. I took some o the tips I didn't already know from here and they really helped me out.

I still never finished it. i lost interest or something, which sucks cos it's a fun art, but... I dunno, something about it just made me bored with it.
I still know where it is if I ever feel like just mindlessly colouring... I think all I did after was Emyli's hair. lol

you actually use make-up on paper? O.O I never tried it before, and the way it looks, I think its a brilliant idea for addin some blush on the skin! XD I tried it ith watercolors, and pencils, but it just wouldn't give me the light blush that I need.

Aww...I do the same thing except without the makeup. xD And I keep buying new prismacolor markers to replace my old ones (I've got a set of more than 100) but I never...use them...>n>

random note in markers: eggshell is a great pale skin tone

i have that marker, but the first time i used it it was too yellow
for my light peach...maybe now that i have the brick beige, it
would blend better.

Cause you said bristol... and that's much thicker than computer paper.

yeah it works on normal paper too. i thnk colours blend easier on
and they also come out less..bristol is like "ARRRRRRR ::suckup
colour.::" so it comes out thicker even if i go quick over. XD
::usually draw on sketching paper >_>;;:: bristol is for special,
fun occasions XD else my markers would all be dead by now D':

Wow! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I coloured in a similar style to this a while back but soon got too lazy to keep it up, but now this has shown me how much nice colouring can add to a pic! I would have never thought to use make up, but it's a great idea because using markers to add colour can sometimes look too harsh. You're very talented. Thanks again!
