Description
Ok, everyone say it with me!"Awwwwwwwwwwwwe!"
These are my emerald swifts Tom and Jerri. Tom has gotten sick very often, and when he is not feeling well Jerri usually goes over and puts a leg over him or sits on top of him for a while.
This time Jerri got sick and was traumatized from some very invasive medical stuff I had to do to her...but much to my surprise, when I put her back Tom came over and--well that's what the picture is for!
Edit: RIP Tom and Jerri...November 2006...you will both be missed terribly.
________________________________________
As in my other swift photos I have to add this...these guys really don't make good pets for first time lizard keepers. Anyone that has kept a lizard knows that they take a lot of care, and if things aren't right they get sick a lot. It is much easier to take care of a sick lizard when it is larger, like a bearded dragon, and not so tiny like these guys are. Therefore, I would say if you want one as a pet, it would be good to have at least two years experience keeping other types of lizards and successfully being able to keep them alive for that time--I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't want anyone to get in over their head with these as the care sheets I've read don't come close to describing husbandry practices that will keep them alive.

I would love to help you out! Have you decided whether to go film or digital?

Thank you already then!
And i thought about that too, but i think it's best these days to go digital, no? Film is much cheaper though, but then you have to pay for every picture you take.. Although it might be good to buy a film camera first, cuz it's much cheaper, just to learn on.. Meh, i don't know Is there any way i could talk to you somehow?
thx for willing to help me

I am so glad that you warn people about what animals make good pets and what not...most people probably buy lizards as pets because they think they look cool, or something, and they don't give much thought on what it actually involves in owning one.

They are not easy to take care of--I mean ten times harder than keeping a snake, but they also have a lot of personality and intelligence to make up for it.

awww they sure are adorable.
i used to have a bunch of different lizards when i was little, then my dad put them in his dental office... havent had any since then. i think we might have had swifts, sounds familiar, perhaps a different kind.
anywho. hope your lil swifty gets better!
