Great capture Heather! Its abstract at first view, then when you see the subject closer, it brings the image together so well with your title. Nice color balance as well, blue overall to emphasize the cold of winter, but the warm sunrise brings hope of melting away the winter for this sprig to eventually bloom.

Great shot Heather,
I am still having trouble with my hard drive so I bought a laptop to stay abreast of things. Will haave to re-format again when the new drive comes in. I can't tell you how frustrating this is.

this is a really great shot! I love the contrasts of the smooth ice and the flakes, and the burst of sky color
(is it slightly crooked? It may be an optical illusion with the lines of snow and clouds but I think your horizon is tilted a bit...)

i would say a tad.but it is the land behind kind of an illusion..if i straightend it the sculpture would be crooked..one of those dang things in life
