Nice! Yeah I saw on the news that deer are very plentiful in Ottawa this year, they are living in the city and often are getting hit by cars.

thanks i was thinking of you when I shot this one..yes I was getting mad and had to move the bird feeder as it was eating the whole thing everynight and now it comes out in the day..I was so nervous taking this I see the adrenaline rush to get an animal shot now

They will do that to you. Try to get low and limit movement. That way they may hang out and let you observe more. I love it.

Well..they're having their habitat cut down around here.. they've no other place to go so they feed on gardens ..birdseed, whatever they can find.. probably like that there too

in the city of dryden it is against the law to have a bird feeder out below 6 ft ..out in the country they don;t care but we have deer right downtown dryden now there are so many..it is kinda strange to see them on the sidewalks infront of stores ..and i agree with the habitat we have to do something about that

We've been seeing them in residential areas and occasionally in some of the smaller towns too.. during rut there are always at least 5 dead by the highway who have been hit by cars on a daily basis...its kind of sad.
