What is originality, and is it tasty?
I think I got past the point of not caring about it, though. I found a style I really like, and I won't be sorry about sticking to it if I don't feel like experimenting, or I'm not particularly creative.

What is originality? HeavenRiver, your art is the meaning of originality! Not that your art is the only originality there is, but there is really nothing quite like this intriguing image. I can tell you right now that your technique apparently works very well for you; keep it up. This really is not possible to see this as one thing! It may be ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics behind unusual glass. It could just as well be an aerial battle outside a skyscraper or even some clouds drifting over a strangely large neighborhood near a huge airport. It's made in a way that really makes it look like many things at once!

So many compliments, I'm not sure I deserve all of them!
But really, thank you I'm glad you can see so many different things in just one piece of work; in fairness, I also have multiple angles of vision on this, and the curious aspect is - none of them match yours. It's always fun and interesting to hear what other people see in what I do, it gives me a completely different perspective on it. Thanks for sharing

What do you mean "not particularly creative"? Your work is always creative!

Haha, I guess I am harsher on myself than I am on others. I feel as though if I re-use the same techniques over and over, instead of finding new ones, I'm not being "creative enough". But hey, glad other people think otherwise!

What do you mean, "what is originality"? That upper-left corner and corresponding dark red-orange patch are gorgeous!! I'd love it to be mapped out across an entire image.
(In fact I could see myself buying it.)
(I might buy it anyway.)

Oooh that's flattering
Thank you! And well, mostly I was worried about originality because I do a TON of these pixel abstracts.

Ben detto! Inoltre l'originalitΓ sta anche nel rimanere incollato al solito stile, ma rinnovandolo ogni volta!
(questa Γ¨ la scusa che uso per i miei spam floreali
)

Noto Infatti l'ho presa proprio da te, e dai tuoi fiori ho capito che si puΓ² anche rinnovare di continuo lo stesso stile, senza scadere nel banale
Grazie!
