As Fox and Krystal examine the sword known as Hexxus, they were soon received by Anubis and Bast.

Krystal: This is a surprise. What brings you here?

Bast: We learned that you have acquired Hexxus from the Scampixies. We have come to purify one one its elements.

Fox: How did you know about Hexxus?

Anubis: It was a long kept secret. We stayed silent for fear that one who is evil would gain possesion of Hexxus and cause total chaos and destruction. But once Hexxus is totally purified of its elements, those of evil intent who not be able to use its power, while those like you would.

Krystal: Which element are you purifying?

Bast: The Power of Chaos, which is the most dangerous of all of them. It comes from a Snake-demon named Apep that thrives on chaos and confusion. But with the Power of the Sun God Ra, Apep's power can be under your control.

Anubis: Let us begin and observe.

As Anubis and Bast approach the sword, Hexxus starts to glow red.

Fox: Is that Apep's power?

Bast: It is. But once we bless the sword with our staves, Apep's Power of Chaos will be purified.

Anubis: So by the power of Ra, we bless the Power of Chaos.

Anubis and Bast touch the sword with the ankhs on their staves and Hexxus glows red. Then it dies down.

Anubis: It is done. I would advise that you don't use the power of Chaos unless it's a last resort. It can be very destructive if misused.

Krystal: That's understandable. We hope we never get a chance to use it.

Bast: Spoken like a true Protector. Now we must leave. Blessings to you and your associates.

Then Anubus and Bast tap their staves and they were gone.

Fox: They sure can make an exit.

Krystal: That's for sure. (Looks at Hexxus) One down, six to go.
