Description
They come from a Post-Apocalyptic World and have been on the run. Meet Joel and Ellie, the main characters of the video game "The Last Of Us". Joel is a smuggler assigned to escort Ellie because she has developed an immunity to a mutant fungus that would turn people into cannibalistic zombies. Unfortunately the source to her immunity is in her brain and removing the source would kill her. Not wishing to see her die, Joel prevents what would have been a fatal surgery for her and now the two hope to see refuge while forming a father-daughter relationship.Perhaps in the future, these two will enter a world in which the apocalypse never took place. If so, it's bound to be a new experience for them.

I have played it. teaches several morale values and how humanity can change the views of them for each individual. Joel had his first daughter taken from him out of fear from the outbreak. And after forming a bond with Ellie, finds out that humanity has decided to 'cure' the fungal zombification by sacrificing Ellie to engineer the vaccine. To him it was basically history repeating itself: A girl he cares for is needlessly killed in an attempt to save the species. He decides that the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few or the one do not apply to the unworthy.
and in the end, he lies to her to protect her from that fact.
I found the game to be quite intriguing and look forward to it's sequel.

I haven't played the gamer but I did find the synopsis quite intriguing in which it would have the makings of an action film. I hear a sequel is in the works.
