Biography
Zarda, or Power Princess, is a founding member of the Squadron Supreme, a group of alien superheroes from a distant world similar to the Avengers. They chose to solve their planet's problems by taking control of the planet, because they felt partially responsible for the chaos ravaging their planet. As the new authority they took on more than just crime fighting and super-villains, they tackled poverty, hunger, the environment, and public health. The people of their world feared their power and turned against them. As a final solution, The Squadron Supreme destroy their home planet, escaping into space in their Citadel. She grew up on a peaceful place called Utopia Island on a far off planet. The Utopians believed that their race was created by the Kree through genetic experimentation. As a result, the Utopians were far more advanced while the rest of the planet's inhabitants were in their early stages of development. When citizens outside Utopia started playing around with atomic and nuclear bombs, the Utopians felt their world is threatened. Being a peaceful civilization, they believed the easiest solution would be to leave the planet. They built a spaceship and left, however Zarda stayed behind as Power Princess and served as the Utopian's emissary. She then later became a founding member of a renowned team of "heroes" on her planet: the Squadron Supreme.
