I've been seeing some neat astrophotography being submitted on DA lately, and I thought I'd get in on the mix. I haven't put one up in a while eh?University of Hawaii 2.2-meter telescope
The University of Hawaii 2.2-meter telescope is located near the summit of Mauna Kea, on the Island of Hawaii. The 2.2-meter telescope was the first large telescope constructed on Mauna Kea. It went into operation in 1970, and its early successes showed the excellent image quality and observing conditions at the top of Mauna Kea.

I like it. It makes me want to get out of the city for a few nights.
It is an excellent view of the stars and the telescope. I am guessing that you did some light painting, I can't imagine that there would be that much light on a telescope, and it turned out well. One of the things that I like about it is the well lit foreground interest and the choice of subject too. I haven't seen many of a telescope with a galaxy in the background, it is usually something else. The angle also shows the scale of what is out there compared to what we have made terrestrially
Overall good subjects, lighting, and angle.
