Description
In the Beyond era the mutants number reached a new low number, going almost extinct. The X-Men ended too, but they left a backup plan, if something like that happened.
In a secret bunker, an AI with the Cerebro data and records of all the X-Men history was activated. With no one left to use it, the AI spent all these years observing the changes in the world and analysing the data left in memory banks, until it reached sentience. Using the tech and equipament left in the bunker it spent another couple of years bulding a body for itself. Calling herself Cortex, and identifying as female, she departed in a journey to rebuild the X-Men and to protect the future of mutantkind.

Cortex: An android. She has all the capabilities of Cerebro, and all the X-Men history stored in her memory. She has Computer Integration, being able to hack any system on the planet;Superhuman Strength and Durability; Superhuman Senses, among other abilities.
Lightray: The team's field leader, he can absorve light converting it in energy blasts. When using his power, his hair tuns yellow and his eyes start to glow.
Geist: She's able to turn herself intangible and can possess other people's body for a couple of minutes depending of their strenght.
Fission: His body emits radiation nonstop and as result he has to wear a containment armor made of a special type of lead. Can expel radiation from himself in a number of ways such as firing blasts of solid radiation in the form of powerful concussive blasts or emitting radiation in the form of intense heat.
Strix: Can steal and absorb energy from other people, manipulate darkness and fly.
Roots: Is able to control plants, combine their proprieties and create armor and wepons with them.
