The background!! It took a while to plan the area out, but I wanted to give a good feeling of the immediate setting. The most frustrating part was the hand-printed text! Augh! I'm not sure if it even looks all that good like that, but whatever! Stupid text!

I really had to laugh at the conversation between aj and rainbow, particularly given dash's drinking portrayed in the story. As others have said before before, i do like that shes not the usual (relatively) innocent wanderer hero. the journey of the flawed character can be even more interesting than the traditional journey. I also noted the poster for polo, i can't but wonder if that's the equine equivalent of the US baseball addiction

Although I was thinking that maybe all it needs is for the background inside the handwritten text box to be a light grey of some sort, rather than white. That might help pull it back in line with that visuals, rather than standing out a bit from it... which I think it does. I'm going to mess around with it a bit yet, but ultimately it is done as it is.

The text boxes are fine to me. Having them stand out more makes reading them... Nicer? I dunno but I'm curious about how you'll change them as well. Either way I'm enjoying the story so far and everything looks great. Excited for the next page
