Description Katara, of the Southern Water Tribe. A newer version, and I think this version's much better than the original I drew. For one thing, this version is far more dramatic. Pose inspired by Season 1, episode 18; The Waterbending Master, and her costume is a mixture of first and second season. I really like the water, though it took ages! Line art done with pencil and ink, coloured in Photoshop.

Katara, and all creations for the Avatar-verse are (c) Nickelodeon

You know, I still can't exactly figure out how I did it? I think its one of those things that'll never happen again.

Wow, you draw Katara perfectly!
Hey, are you a Zutara or a Kataang shipper?
This is a really awesome pic!

I happen to be a Kataang shipper, but I /do/ see places where Zutara could work. Basically, so long as it's not utterly terrible, I'm all for it!

I really do like it! I do. I'm just a bit worried about the feet, it looks like her hips are back to front.

Apart from that I would kill to have you colouring skills ^^

I did a lot of research as to the movements of this pose, and this was what I got. It looks okay to me, but of course I'm going to say that. I drew it. ^^

Thank you for your comment. I've been having problems recently with people who don't know how to critique, but you are one of those people who actually knows how. Thank you.

Heh, to be honest I wasn't aware that what I was giving could be considered real 'critique'. I'm glad you were offended though becuase I really do like this, such clean lineart~

With the foot I think its mostly the placement of that darker material that throws me.

Hmmm...Yeah. I see what you mean. I was trying to show where her big toe was, but I can see that it might not have come out quite right.

Thanks! The pose took ages because I had to pose myself to see where her feet and hands would be.

That's so good!

Her hands are gorgeously posed and detailed!

Love her expression! She looks half angry and half pleased with her self!

Congrats on the water, too! It looks like you worked hard on it - and the whole thing!
