Oh my gosh ... I totally love this. Is the Dimensions kit called "Tree of Love"? I need to find it

Also, what kind of needlework is it? I have only ever done cross stitch, but I love the aesthetic here. Very cute!

Aww... that's so nice, thank you If memory serves me right 'tree of life' was it's title.... haven't seen it for years now but you may get lucky. It's Crewel work, embroidiery but in wool.
Embroidery is a dying art for sure but much easier on the eyes than cross st', i hope you find one

Alternatively, do you know where I can find this kit? I have been looking and can't find it anywhere, and I am so in love with it, haha.

It's fabulous! I love doing embroidery, and was just admiring your padded satins stitches. So smooth and even. My favorite part would have to bet he tree itself. it's so majestic. But I like the owl second best.

that's so nice to hear, it is a dying art i fear. I must say that the 'added satin' would have looked very different in silks that's what i love about crewel work, it fills so well. the tree is the backbone indeed but not so much of a pleasure.Thank you so much for your lovely comment

Addition: The longer I watch them, the more I think the bigger snail simply rocks, and the owl, too. The raccoon looks a bit scared, if you ask me.
