Description This is a roughly 18cm X 17cm piece that I've been working on for a while now, about 2 months with breaks in between for my exams and drawing

I made this for my grandmother, whose birthday is very soon and I'm visiting her afterwards

Its cotton thread on polyester fabric, with a few beads used and a sequin ^_^ the orange fruit in the right bottom is a weave of white thread with acrylic base paint and watercolor pencil colors added on, for the simplest reason that my attempt to sew on a gradient like such looked just horrible

I hope you like it and please leave any comments, suggestions, or any hints and tips for my future improvement ^_^

Fantastic. Makes me think of my gramma! She did covers like this for all of our pillows when I was a baby. ;o;

What are all the stitches that you used? It's quite densely stitched.

All of them?! Oh damn, I don't even know the names of most, lol, I just sew...

*Umm lemme see, the leaves are filling stitches (if thats the name) and the lines are either back stitches or split stitches.
*The red and black fruits are french knots, so is the body of the butterfly.
*The gradient fruit is a weave of white thread painted afterwards
*The other things are pretty much just filling stitches and
*The branches are a kind of an alternate pattern of -.- and .-. for each single row, if that makes sense... ^_^

Hope that helped

Wow, this is a beautiful design, I love how there are so many different yet complementary elements to this piece, and the overall effect is stunning! I think the gradient effect turned out really nicely
